Postdoctoral Fellowship Opportunity – ATRACT 2026 (Bourgogne–Franche–Comté Region, France)

My team is pleased to announce the opening of the ATRACT 2026 call for postdoctoral fellowships, funded by the Bourgogne–Franche–Comté (BFC) regional government in France.

The ATRACT program aims to support the recruitment and establishment of promising young researchers in the Bourgogne–Franche–Comté region.

Application period: November 10, 2025 – January 10, 2026

Host institution: UMLP / FEMTO-ST Institute (Université de Franche-Comté, CNRS, ENSMM, UTBM)

Funding details:

-              Up to €150,000, including a 24-month postdoctoral contract (minimum salary of €120,000 over two years) and operational costs.

-              Up to €40,000 in investment funding for equipment or setup.

Eligibility criteria:

-              The applicant must have obtained a PhD within the past 10 years.

-              Demonstrated academic excellence and a strong research record.

-              Currently affiliated with an institution outside the Bourgogne–Franche–Comté region.

-              Willing to relocate to the host institution (UMLP / FEMTO-ST) for the fellowship.

The selected postdoctoral researcher will join our research activities in hydrogen energy systems, multiphysics modeling, intelligent diagnosis, control, energy and health management of energy systems, etc., benefiting from FEMTO-ST’s advanced experimental and computational facilities.
