Since september 2002, I am an assistant/associate professor in computer science at the University Institute of Technology of Belfort-Montbéliard (IUT Belfort-Montbéliard), which is a part of the University of Franche-Comté. I mainly teach courses for the University Diploma of Technology in computer science (DUT Informatique in french) and I perform my research work as a member of the AND team (Algorithmique Numérique Distribuée) from the DISC (computer science) department of the FEMTO-ST Institute. I got an accreditation to supervise research (Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches) in computer science from the Univ. Bourgogne Franche-Comté in october 2018.
Actually, my research topic is machine learning, with today a particular focus on deep learning approaches. Over the past years I have worked on the use of multilayer perceptrons, followed by works on convolutional neural networks-based approaches for image steganalysis and image denoising, resulting in several publications. My current research works are still on the use of deep learning, but deal with different problems, taking place of two funded projects (more information on page Research) :
- Generate Learn and Detect (GeLeaD)
funded by ANR ASTRID (DGA) 2018 program (300 k€) - Automatic Detection of Viable myocArdiac segmeNts Considering dEep networkS (ADVANCES)
funded by ISITE-BFC / Industry project (309 k€)
