I received the degrees in Electronic Engineering and Master in Engineering Science from the University of Concepcion, Chile in 2006 and 2009 respectively. In 2012 I received the Doctor degree in Electrical Engineering Sciences from the University of Concepcion, Chile and the Doctor degree in Automatic Control from the University Claude Bernard - Lyon 1, France. I held a postdoc position from June 2012 to August 2013 at the department of Automatique et Systèmes Micro-Mécatroniques (AS2M) at FEMTO-ST (Franche-Comté Electronique Mécanique Thermique et Optique - Sciences et Technologies) UMR CNRS 6174, in Besançon.

I'm currently Associate Professor at the University of Franche-Comté in Besançon and researcher in the CODE team at (AS2M) FEMTO-ST. My research interests are in the fields of port-Hamiltonian systems, nonlinear control, passivity based control and distributed parameter systems.
